The Rio Blanco Water Conservancy District (RBWCD) continues to survey our rural community surrounding Rangely, gauging interest for expanding drinking water service. To date, rural constituents continue to express interest in creating a rural water system. This rural water system would deliver drinking water to rural areas and properties outside the Town of Rangely’s service area through the installation of pipelines.
Based upon feedback, several areas have been identified as priority areas of interest which include; County Road 46, County 2, County Road 102, and Hwy 64 East of Rangely.
A second informational signup meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at the Fire Training Center, Rangely Colorado from 6:00 – 8:00 PM along with other RBWCD project updates. During this time RBWCD staff will share the project proposal, cost estimates, proposed fees, and have a consultant available to meet with you as well. A meal and refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP by August 18th if you are planning to attend.
